Personal Message from the Conference Chair
On behalf of the ECSM 2026 Organising Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 13th European Conference on Social Media, hosted by the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus). Cyprus is renowned for its warm hospitality, stunning Blue Flag beaches, and exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. Located at the intersection of Europe, MENA, and Asia, the island’s strategic position has shaped its rich cultural heritage and 10,000-year history, making it one of the oldest civilizations in the region. ECSM 2026 presents an excellent opportunity to discover Cyprus, connect with fellow academics and professionals, share ideas, and gain fresh perspectives. We look forward to welcoming you to Larnaka in 2026!
